Slate

This stone is produced by crushing and screening large deposits of slate.  Slate has been overlooked for years, as the best alternative to mulch.  It doesn't deteriorate, or blow away during spring and fall cleanup. The red slate is an amazing substitute and cost effective for red mulch, and will never lose its color, therefore will not need to be replaced annually.   Landscapers love to use red slate in flower beds and around walkways. Slate is weather and pollution resistant making it great for those uses.

Decomposed Slate

Our decomposed slate is a great option similar to a decomposed granite. This is a finely crushed up material. This is great for laying a base for any project. It can also be used around flower beds and trees.

Decomposed slate will make a great walkway to gardens and paitos.
