3/8" Crushed

⅜” crushed refers to small, crushed aggregate that measures roughly ⅜ inches in diameter and often exhibits sharp/angular shapes due to the crushing process. Stones these sizes are great for landscaping, paths, and patios.

1/2" Minus

½” Minus refers to the aggregate mix where pieces are ½” and smaller. Importantly, the smaller pieces and fine dust is not sifted out, creating a mix with greater variance. This material is great for patio bases and walkways.

3/4" Crushed

¾” crushed is a collection of angular aggregates screened and separated to hold only pieces with a ¾” diameter. At this size, stone is great for drainage and structural bases.

3/4" Minus

¾” minus screens an aggregate for angular pieces that are ¾” in diameter and smaller, keeping the dust and tiny aggregates along with the larger pieces.

1" Minus

1” minus screens for all aggregate pieces are 1” diameter and under without filtering out the dust and fine particles of the crushing process. Minus is great as a driveway/road base and building pads.

1-1/4" Crushed

Refers to the collection of angular aggregate that falls within the 1” to 1 ¼” inch in diameter with the larger and smaller pieces being filtered out.

1-1/2" Stone

1-½” stone refers to the collection of coarse stone that has been sorted to the specific diameter of 1 to 1 ½ inch diameter. At this size, stone excels at drainage and in landscaping settings.

2" Crushed

2” crushed refers to the angular aggregate resulting from stone crushing that is roughly 2 inches in diameter. At this size, stone is best employed as driveway base and for drainage systems like french drains.

2"-4" River Rock

River rock is a smooth, naturally-worn stone originating from rivers that fall within the 2 to 4 inch range. These rocks typically show colors like grays, tans, and browns, which look fantastic in landscape settings.

4"-8" Riprap

Riprap refers to the aggregate from crushed stone/crushed concrete where pieces measure anywhere from 4 to 8 inches in diameter. Often best employed around drainage control and site stabilization.

Angular Stone
